As a Reiki Practitioner/Master/Teacher … any healing that is realized is not done by me, but through me. I am a conduit in which divine energy channels through to you. This is where your INTENTION to do The Work to heal comes in. You must be at a place where you have decided that the time has arrived to do this.
It is said “When the Student is READY, the Teacher will Appear.”
You are the HEALER … I am the Lamplighter.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a light-touch, energy-based relaxation modality that uses our Universal Life Force Energy to balance and harmonize the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of the body. Reiki practitioners rest their hands gently on or above specific areas of one’s clothed body and every is projected directly into the energy field and drawn or directed into the physical being of the client. The energy is self-dispersing; it flows naturally into deficient areas and also assists your body in re-balancing your essential energy which allows you to participate more fully in your own healing. Re-discovered in the early 1900’s Reiki is an ancient, organic “Laying-on-of-the-hands” practice used cross-culturally by humans for thousands of years.
What is a Reiki Session like?
During a Reiki session, you will lay fully clothed on a comfortable table, (similar to what is used in massage) or in a chair. The practitioner uses light touch directly on or above the energy centers of your body (known as Chakras) to facilitate balance, harmony and deep relaxation.
Reiki supports medical treatments and any other complementary healing methods that a client may be using. Reiki is not a “religion”. Reiki contributes to a person’s ability to heal body, mind and spirit on many levels.
Reiki sessions last about an hour. In my practice, I combine soft relaxing music and aromatherapy to further assist in your Reiki experience. If you would like, we can talk about the issues, both physical and mental, that are of concern to you prior to your session.
80% of all illness is stress related. Reiki helps in alleviating stress and worry in the body.
